McVeigh & Mangum Engineering, Inc. (MME) was established in 1991 with the objective of providing quality engineering services and establishing enduring client relationships while strictly adhering to our established core values. Although recognized by our colleagues and clients as an industry leader, we continue to aspire to greater heights. Our focus is on providing innovative engineering solutions for architectural projects. MME has assembled an outstanding staff of more than 80 employees in our Jacksonville and Atlanta offices. We offer full-service engineering, which includes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, LEED, and commissioning services.

This results in high quality drawings, sound economical designs and lower fees. MME is also fully networked, allowing us to take full advantage of our multi-discipline, in-house capabilities, resulting in the ability to provide better coordination between disciplines.

MME's structural staff is experienced in the design of structures built in reinforced concrete, structural steel, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, pre-cast concrete, aluminum, and timber. Our experience includes concrete floor systems of post-tensioned flat slabs, pan joists, flat slabs, pre-stressed joists, cast-in-place beams, pre-stressed double tees, hollow core, and tilt-up concrete wall panels including the tallest panel in the United States. Our steel design experience includes floor systems of composite steel beams, bar joists, steel beams and steel trusses.
