Stevenson Toyota has achieved LEED Silver! MME played a key role in help this 74,000 SF full service car dealership in Jacksonville, NC achieve this LEED goal by reducing the heat island effect of the building by using a highly reflective roofing, reducing water consumption (no permanently installed irrigation, rainwater harvesting for grey water usage in toilets), designing occupancy sensors for lighting control, and improving indoor air quality. Additionally, construction featured the use of regional construction materials, using recycled construction materials when possible, and recycling construction waste. MME not only provided LEED commissioning services, but also  full engineering for the architect, Kasper Architecture.
