Tallahassee Memorial Hospital M.T. Mustian Surgery Center
The project consisted of a six story, approximately 300,000 SF surgery critical care addition to the existing hospital which is intended to be the hospital’s new “front door”. The addition was designed for anticipated vertical expansion (based on a provided growth path) and provides for the ultimate build out of thirty-six (36) new operating rooms and their associated support services over two (2) floors and seventy-two (72) new critical care rooms over three floors. Additional support functions for the hospital were located in the basement. A 13,000 SF CEP expansion, as well as renovations to the existing hospital at new connecting access ways, were included in the project.
