With over 50 years of experience as a nationally recognized leader in the A&E industry, Alan Baldwin, FAIA, brings to the McVeigh & Mangum, now IMEG Board of Directors invaluable insight into how we can best serve the architectural community. Alan is a leader, innovator, strategist and educator who has managed and grown two successful architectural-engineering design firms, serving as these firms’ President, CEO and Managing Principal. Alan has also served as Principal-in-Charge on multiple major projects and has created and instituted Project Quality Control programs for his and other design firms. Alan has received both AIA and CSI’s National Awards for Large Firms for his in-house continuing education model, which is now being used by numerous large design firms nationally.
In addition, Alan has chaired numerous national committees and task forces within both AIA and NCARB over the last thirty-five years. Alan speaks frequently on Leadership, Strategic Firm Growth, In-house Continuing Education and the benefits of Internships at Universities and regional and national conferences, including the annual AIA and NCARB Conventions.
